Mode of Action: Chlorothalonil(2,4,5,6-tetrachloroisophthalonitrile) is an organic compound mainly used as a broad spectrum, nonsystemic fungicide, with other uses as a wood protectant, pesticide, acaricide, and to control mold, mildew, bacteria, algae. It is a protective fungicide, and it attacks the nerve system of insects and mites, causing paralysis within hours. The paralysis can not be reversed.

Application
Chlorothalonil is a broad-spectrum protective fungicide, which can prevent many kinds of fungal diseases. The drug effect is stable and the residual period is long. It can be used for wheat, rice, vegetables, fruit trees, peanuts, tea and other crops. Such as wheat scab, with 75%WP 11.3g/100m2, 6kg of water spray; Vegetable diseases (tomato early blight, late blight, leaf mildew, spot blight, melon downy mildew, anthrax) with 75%WP 135 ~ 150g, water 60 ~ 80kg spray; Fruit downy mildew, powdery mildew, 75%WP 75-100g water 30-40kg spray; In addition, it can be used for peach rot, scab disease, tea anthracnose, tea cake disease, web cake disease, peanut leaf spot, rubber canker, cabbage downy mildew, black spot, grape anthracnose, potato late blight, eggplant gray mold, orange scab disease. It is applied as a dust, dry or water-soluble grains, a wettable powder, a liquid spray, a fog, and a dip. It may be applied by hand, by ground sprayer, or by aircraft.
